Ferris Jacobs Jr.

Ferris Jacobs Jr. (March 20, 1836 – August 30, 1886) was an American military officer, politician, and lawyer.

He served in the Union Army in several roles during the American Civil War, and afterwards spent one term as United States representative from New York.

He graduated from Williams College in 1856; studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1859 and commenced practice in Delhi.

Later he resumed law practice in Delhi, New York and was elected district attorney in 1865 and 1866.
