Fetu or Effutu was a kingdom in what is now southern Ghana.

The towns of Elmina and Cape Coast was originally built on Fetu land.

[1][2] By the early 1700s the kingdom was under the influence of the neighboring Fante Confederacy after having fought several wars in the previous century.
