Fort Green is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hardee County, Florida, United States.

Fort Green is 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Wauchula, the Hardee County seat.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Fort Green CDP has an area of 4.042 square miles (10.47 km2), all of it land.

[4] Payne Creek, an east-flowing tributary of the Peace River, forms the southern border of the CDP.
