Fredric Warden Shook was born on March 30, 1919, in Fort Worth, Texas.
[1] Shook played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University.
[1] He was a member of the Horned Frogs team that were consensus national champions in 1938.
Shook played in nine games, all starts, for the Long Island Indians of the American Association in 1940.
[1] He played in four games for the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League in 1941.
