Frederick William Allendorf (born April 29, 1947) is an American biologist who is the Regents Professor of Biology Emeritus at the University of Montana.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Pennsylvania State University in 1971.
[1] Before he was a scientist, Allendorf served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968 during the Vietnam War.
[1] In 1987, Allendorf was elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
[1] Allendorf was elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2019.
