The Friary Community Hospital is a health facility in Queen's Road, Richmond, North Yorkshire, England.
It is managed by South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
[1] The facility was commissioned to replace the aging Victoria Hospital.
[2] The site for the new hospital lies within the grounds of a 13th century Franciscan friary.
[3] The scheme was procured under a private finance initiative contract in 1997 and was implemented by converting a large traditional property (previously used as the headmaster's house for Richmond School) into a community hospital;[4] it was officially opened in 1999.
