Friedrich Altrichter (3 September 1890 – 10 December 1948) was a German officer, last in the rank of Generalleutnant of the Wehrmacht.
After Germany's defeat in the First World War, Altrichter continued to serve in the Weimar Republic's Reichswehr.
In March 1934, about a year after Adolf Hitler took power, he became a battalion commander at the 9th Prussian Infantry Regiment in Potsdam.
He commanded the 58th Infantry Division from September 1941 to April 1942 and was awarded the German Cross in gold on 23 January 1942.
There, he came into contact with officers aligned with the pro-Soviet National Committee for a Free Germany, but did ultimately not join them.
