Ganesa panamensis

Ganesa panamensis is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Skeneidae.

Dall was somewhat puzzled where to place this little shell, which appears to agree in general form very well with Ganesa nitidiuscula Jeffreys, as figured in the Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London for 1883.

It shows about ten faint grooves around the very narrowly perforate umbilicus.

The outer lip is sharp, the inner arcuate and slightly thickened, the body with a thin callus.

The foot of the animal is rather short, with several pseudopodial lateral rather stout filaments.
