Gennady Nedelin was born on 20 May 1938 in Klyuchi, Krasnoyarsk Krai,[1] and was the second child in the family.
Having received the Decrees of the President of the RSFSR, he ordered to immediately transmit them on the district radio.
On 12 December 1993, Nedelin was elected to the Federation Council from the Taimyr (Dolgano-Nenets) Autonomous Okrug.
His main rival was the deputy of the district Duma, Gennady Subbotkin,[3] for whom only 11.8% of voters voted.
From 1997 to 1998, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Russian Joint Stock Company Norilsk Nickel.
