George Hardin Buckstaff (March 8, 1837 – October 17, 1913) was a British North America-born American lumberman, and Republican politician.
During the American Civil War, he served in the Union Army and was wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga.
[1] After the outbreak of the American Civil War, he volunteered for service in the Union Army and was enrolled in Company A of the 1st Wisconsin Infantry Regiment.
[2] He served through the first three years of the war, participating in the battles at Perryville, Stones River, and Hoover's Gap.
[3] He was wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga, in September 1863, and mustered out of federal service at the end of his three year enlistment in October 1864.
