Georgette Vincent

Georgette Vincent [Mooney] (July 5, 1928 – December 4, 1980) was a pitcher who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League between the 1947 and 1954 seasons.

[1][2] A member of two champion teams, Georgette Vincent pitched as a reliever and spot starter during her seven seasons in the league.

After being used sparingly by the Racine Belles for two seasons, she received better opportunities to achieve her potential with the South Bend Blue Sox.

[1][5] Her most productive season came in 1951, when she helped South Bend win the pennant and the championship title with a 13–9 record and a 2.42 ERA in a career-high 171 innings.

[1][6] In 1952, Vincent was 8–8 with a career-best 2.36 ERA and South Bend claimed its second consecutive title in identical ways, 3–2, over the Rockford Peaches.
