Gerri Green

Gerri Germaine Green (pronounced Gary) (born September 14, 1995) is an American professional football defensive end.

He played college football at Mississippi State and was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL draft.

He has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Washington Football Team, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears.

Rated a four-star recruit by several talent evaluators, Green played in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star and the Semper Fidelis Bowl after recording 98 tackles, including 11.5 for loss, and 5.0 sacks in his senior year.

He committed to play football at Mississippi State over offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Louisiana-Lafayette, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

[3] Off the field, Green was named to the SEC Community Service Team and was nominated for the 2018 Wuerffel Trophy.

[4] Following the end his final season, Green received an invitation to play in the 2019 Senior Bowl and made four tackles in the game.
