Gilbert Carson (1842 – 4 March 1924) was an independent conservative Member of Parliament in New Zealand.
Carson was born at sea in 1842 two weeks before the ship reached Auckland.
[2] He unsuccessfully contested the Wanganui electorate in the 1890 election.
[4][5] In 1914, he was appointed to the Legislative Council and served one term until 1921.
