Gilbert H. Jertberg

Born in Springfield, Missouri, Jertberg was a lieutenant in the United States Army during World War I, from 1917 to 1918.

He was a deputy district attorney of Fresno County, California from 1923 to 1924.

[1] Jertberg was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on January 21, 1955, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California vacated by Judge Campbell E. Beaumont.

His service terminated on September 1, 1958, due to his elevation to the Ninth Circuit.
