Born in Pasadena, California, Crocker received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from Fresno State College (now California State University, Fresno) in 1937 and a Bachelor of Laws from the UC Berkeley School of Law in 1940.
[1] Crocker was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on February 16, 1959, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California vacated by Judge Gilbert H. Jertberg.
Crocker was reassigned by operation of law on September 18, 1966, to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, to a new seat authorized by 80 Stat.
His service terminated on February 2, 2010, due to his death in Chowchilla.
