Glasgow Anniesland (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Glasgow Anniesland (Gaelic: Glaschu Fearann Anna) is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament (Holyrood).

It is also one of nine constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region, which elects seven additional members, in addition to nine constituency MSPs, to produce a form of proportional representation for the region as a whole.

In the first election to the Scottish Parliament the seat was won for Labour by Donald Dewar who subsequently became the first First Minister of Scotland.

Following their First Periodic review of constituencies to the Scottish Parliament the Boundary Commission for Scotland had recommended alterations to the existing Anniesland constituency boundaries.
