Glengallan, Queensland

Glengallan is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region, Queensland, Australia.

[2] The land is mostly flat (approx 460 metres (1,510 ft) above sea level except for Mount Marshall in the north-east of the locality (28°05′44″S 152°04′17″E / 28.0955°S 152.0715°E / -28.0955; 152.0715 (Mount Marshall)) which rises to 601 metres (1,972 ft).

[2][4][5] The land use is predominantly crop growing with grazing on native vegetation on the sloes of Mount Marshall.

[7] On Monday 14 September 1908, the foundation stone of St Andrew's Anglican Church was laid by Archdeacon Rivers.

[8][12][13] Glengallan Presbyterian Church was officially opened and dedicated on Sunday 19 September 1909 by Reverend R. Kerr.
