Glossary of Gaelic games terms

The following is an alphabetical list of terms and jargon used in relation to Gaelic games.

Competitions usually have long names, so an abbreviation system is used: For example: The term "GAA" is not normally used in competition names, particularly in GAA-only sports.

Other abbreviations include:

"HQ" aka Croke Park
