At over 11.5 acres they are the second largest allotment site in the London Borough of Haringey (who also owns them).
During the First World War they were forced to give up the lease on part of the course for allotment gardening.
Over time it focused on the Golf Course Allotments over others, subsequently changing its name to reflect this.
Throughout the year are events such as cafés and parties which raise funds to improve the site.
Normally held in early September, the Show is opened with the National Gardens Scheme.
