(1560 – 28 January, 1631) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as the first Bishop of Durango (1620–1631).
Gonzalo Hernandez y Hermosillo y Gonzalez was born in México in 1560 and ordained a priest in the Order of Saint Augustine.
[1] On 12 October 1620, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Paul V as Bishop of Durango.
