The racial makeup of the township was 95.64% White, 2.18% African American, 0.36% Native American, 0.54% Pacific Islander, 0.54% from other races, and 0.73% from two or more races.

There were 193 households, out of which 39.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.8% were non-families.
