Graham Beck

Graham Beck (5 December 1929 – 28 July 2010) was a South African business magnate, wine maker, stud farmer and philanthropist.

[2] He is best known as one of the richest men in South Africa and founder of Kangra Group as well as the non-profit Graham Beck Foundation.

Although the true extent of his wealth was unknown to the public it is known that he netted R1.08 billion in 2006 from the purchase of his 60% stake in Kangra Group's coal operation to the Spanish company Fenosa.

[4] He was closely linked to the South African mining magnate Cyril Ramaphosa who was Kangra's primary empowerment partner.
