The racial makeup of the Township was 97.15% White, 0.12% African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.56% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.67% from other races, and 1.14% from two or more races.

There were 4,609 households, out of which 44.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.1% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.3% were non-families.

13.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
