The racial makeup of the township was 93.63% White, 0.30% African American, 0.47% Native American, 0.73% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 3.31% from other races, and 1.49% from two or more races.

There were 1,805 households, out of which 44.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.0% were married couples living together, 5.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.6% were non-families.

12.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
