Grant Hendrik Tonne (born 22 June 1976) is a German politician who became Minister for Education for Lower Saxony in 2017.

[2] He is a member of the German-Polish Friendship Group set up in cooperation with the Senate of Poland.

Tonne was born in Bad Oeynhausen on 22 June 1976 and grew up in Leese.

In 2007, Tonne finished his second Staatsexam at the Higher Regional Court of Celle.
