Green Lake (Chisago City, Minnesota)

It is the largest lake in the Chisago City area and it is 32 feet (9.8 m) deep at its deepest point.

The main public boat access is located off of County Road 23 in Chisago City.

[citation needed] Green Lake specializes in walleye, bluegill, and crappie.

Green Lake also hosts a bass tournament during Chisago City's annual "Ki-Chi-Saga Days" festival.

A 2011 sample of the lake turned up the following species: black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, bowfin (dogfish), brown bullhead, common carp, golden shiner, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, walleye, yellow bullhead, yellow perch.

Walleye abundance is within the normal range for this lake type, although survey gill net catch rates have decreased since peaking in 1986.
