Gregory Boyd Penner (born December 18, 1969) is an American businessman who is the chairman of Walmart and co-owner and CEO of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL).
[5] He majored in international economics at Georgetown University before earning an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1997.
[8][9] He is on the board of directors of Baidu, eHarmony, Hyatt Hotels, Teach for America,[10][11] and co-chair of Charter School Growth Fund.
[12][13] On August 9, 2022, the NFL owners approved the purchase of the Denver Broncos by a syndicate consisting of Penner, his wife Carrie, father-in-law Rob Walton, Condoleezza Rice, Mellody Hobson, and Sir Lewis Hamilton.
[14] The next day, the Broncos announced that Penner would also be taking over as the team's new CEO after Joe Ellis stepped down from the position.
