Grieg Seafood

The company is based in Bergen, Norway, and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

The corporation was previously a subsidiary of the Grieg Group, and is still co-located with its largest owner in Downtown Bergen.

In 2006, the company performed a merger with Volden Group[1] and has previously also operated in Denmark and Chile.

[citation needed] The company is "licensed to produce 23,400 tonnes of salmon annually to North American and Asian markets."

[2][3] Together with Marine Harvest and Cermaq, Grieg controls more than 90% of the salmon farming industry in British Columbia, Canada.
