Guangdong Science Center

The science center is a non-profit organization, located at the west end of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center with a land area of 450,000 square metres (540,000 sq yd) and a building floor area of 137,500 square metres (164,400 sq yd).

[1] Costing 1.9 billion yuan, Guangdong Science Center was built within a 5-year period of time.

As a member of Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres(ASPAC), Guangdong Science Center held the Annual Conference in 2011,[2] the Xiaoguwei Science Forum won the 2014 ASPAC Creative Science Communication Award, Eyes on the World exhibition won the 2014 ASPAC Creative Exhibit Award.
