Guise baronets

The Guise Baronetcy, of Highnam Court in the County of Gloucester, was created in the Baronetage of Great Britain on 9 December 1783 for John Guise,[2] the cousin and heir male of the last Baronet of the 1661 creation.

His brother General Sir John Wright Guise, 3rd Baronet, commanded a Guards battalion in the Peninsular War.

The heir apparent is the present holder's son, Wylder James Guise (born 2010) The Guise coat of arms, as displayed above the front door of Elmore Court, is blazoned Gules, seven lozenges conjoined vairé three, three and one.

[3] In 1863 the third baronet was granted heraldic supporters, usually only borne by peers, to descend to heirs male on succession to the baronetcy.
