Gymnobela filifera

Gymnobela filifera is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae.

(Original description) The thin, delicate shell is elongated, fusiform, waxy white.

These are near the suture smooth except for the distinct lines of growth indicating the deep wide notch.

Elsewhere the shell is sculptured with numerous nearly uniform flattened revolving threads with about equal interspaces.

[2] G. filifera can be found in the Gulf of Mexico, ranging from the coast of Louisiana to western Florida.
