HMS Lancaster was an 80-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched at Bursledon on 3 April 1694.

[1] Lancaster was built at a cost of £12,807.4.10d, and had an armament of twenty-four demi-cannon, thirty culverins, and twenty-six sakers: eighty guns in all.

[2][4] On 15 February 1743 she was ordered to be taken to pieces and rebuilt at Woolwich Dockyard as a 66-gun third rate according to the 1741 proposals of the 1719 Establishment.

This rebuild returned her to a two-decker, and she was relaunched on 22 April 1749.
