Habib ibn Muzahir

Ḥabīb ibn Muẓāhir al-Asadī (Arabic: حبيب بن مظاهر الأسدي, romanized: Ḥabīb ibn Muẓāhir al-Asadī) of the Banu Asad clan, was a companion of Ali, Hasan ibn Ali and Husayn ibn Ali.

He was killed at the age of 75 while fighting in Husayn's army in Karbala.

[2] His tomb is located within the Imam Husayn Shrine in the southern porch.

[3][4][5] According to history, Habib fought and killed 62 enemy soldiers before being attacked by Budayl b. Maryam 'Aqfani, who struck him on the head with a sword.

Another enemy then hit him with a spear, causing him to fall from his horse, after which Budayl b. Maryam beheaded him.
