Hamun

A hamun (or hamoun) (Persian: هامون hāmūn) refers to inland desert lakes or marshlands, formed as natural seasonal reservoirs in areas adjoining the Helmand basin, found across eastern Iran, southern Afghanistan and western Pakistan.
