Harry De Gray (1866–1952) was the Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Council for 2 years from 1911 to 1913.
He was manager of the China and Japan Trading Company.
In 1911, he became Chairman of the Council, serving until 1913 when he returned to the United States.
[3] He continued to serve as the President of the China, Japan and South America Trading Company, and in that role continued to visit Asia from time to time.
[5] De Gray died in 1952, and was buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey next to his wife in the family plot.
