The Millmont Red Bridge and Halfway Lake Dam are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The racial makeup of the township was 99.18% White, 0.18% African American, 0.18% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, and 0.35% from two or more races.
22.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
