Hazelton Township, Kittson County, Minnesota

Hazelton Township was organized in 1888, and named for the abundant hazel bushes within its borders.

[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93 km2), all land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 99 people, 43 households, and 26 families residing in the township.

There were 56 housing units at an average density of 1.6 per square mile (0.62/km2).

32.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
