HealthTap is a medical group and technology company delivering telehealth virtual healthcare via the web and health apps.

HealthTap also provides the opportunity for peer review, which consists of doctors rating each other and self-identifying specializations.

[8] In March 2016, HealthTap acquired Docphin, a startup designed to make finding and reading medical research easier for doctors.

The results of the review were overwhelmingly negative and found, amongst other things, that the platform was not fit for purpose.
