Henry Eamonn Connor CNZM (4 August 1922 – 26 July 2016) was a New Zealand botanist and science administrator.
[5] However, his major body of research was concerned with the taxonomy and reproductive biology of New Zealand grasses.
[5][6][7] Working at the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) for 40 years, Connor rose to become director of the Botany Division.
[1] He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science by Lincoln College in 1978 on the basis of papers submitted.
[12] Connor was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2002 Queen's Birthday and Golden Jubilee Honours for services to botany.
