Henry Johnston, Lord Johnston

Henry Johnston was born at 32 Heriot Row[1] in Edinburgh on 5 February 1844 the eldest son of Henry Johnston, a surgeon in the Honourable East India Company.

[2] In 1908 he was created a Senator of the College of Justice and given the title Lord Johnston.

He is buried amongst other family members in Dean Cemetery in western Edinburgh.

The grave lies in the first northern extension set back slightly from the southern path on its north side.
