Hesperomannia (island-aster)[1] is a genus of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae.
[2][3] Hesperomannia is endemic to Hawaii[4][5] and consists of four species:[6] Although traditionally classified in the tribe Mutisieae, molecular evidence shows that it belongs in the tribe Vernonieae, most closely related to the African Vernonia species.
