Hibbertia villifera is a species of flowering plant in the family Dilleniaceae and is endemic to South Australia.
Hibbertia villifera is shrub that typically grows to a height of 20–60 cm (7.9–23.6 in) and has rigid, woody branches and hairy foliage.
The flowers are sessile and arranged in groups of three to five on the ends of branches with linear to lance-shaped bracts 3.3–4.5 mm (0.13–0.18 in) long at the base.
The species was first formally described in 2000 by Hellmut R. Toelken in the Journal of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens from specimens he collected near Vivonne Bay on Kangaroo Island in 1997.
[2] This hibbertia grows in heath or mallee on Kangaroo Island and the southern Mount Lofty Ranges.
