Hieracium schultzii,[1] the roughstem hawkweed,[2] is a species of plant in the tribe Cichorieae within the family Asteraceae.
It is widespread across much of Mexico with a few populations in Guatemala and western Texas.
[3][4][5] Hieracium schultzii is herbaceous and up to 70 cm (2.3 ft) tall with many hairs.
One stalk can produce 3-25 flower heads in a conical or flat-topped array.
