Hill and Dale Preserve

The Hill and Dale Preserve is an approximately 300-acre (120 ha) nature reserve located in Lebanon, New Jersey.

The preserve is primarily a combination of open fields and wooded sections.

[2] There are approximately 2.3 miles (3.7 km) of hiking trails within the park, and many types of bird and animal species can be spotted, including Cooper’s hawk, wood thrush, bobcat, fox and black bear.

[3] The park is physically connected to adjacent Hell Mountain Preserve.

The preserve begins in the Rockaway Creek Valley and includes some steep climbs.
