She enrolled at the Syekh Yusuf Islamic University Tangerang [id], graduating with a bachelors in public administration in 1996.

[1] She began working as a reporter and as a radio talk host after graduating from high school, before later becoming a civil servant at the Ministry of Education and Culture starting in 1997.

[8] She has proposed that contract teachers in Indonesian state schools be given permanent positions as government employees.

[10] She is married to Ahmad Muzani, a senior Gerindra politician who had served as the party's secretary-general and as deputy speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly.
