The racial makeup of the township was 95.98% White, 0.12% African American, 1.22% Native American, 0.49% Pacific Islander, 0.37% from other races, and 1.83% from two or more races.

19.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
