Hisamodien Mohamed

Prior to serving in Parliament, Mohamed was the provincial head of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.

Mohamed was born on 2 January 1965 in Lotus River in Cape Town and attended Wittebome High School.

[2] He was the first chairperson of the African National Congress in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.

[2] In May 2019, Mohamed was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa as a member of the ANC.

[3] Mohamed died of a heart attack on 24 August 2020 in his home in Pinelands, Cape Town.
