Holtbyrnia is a genus of deepwater marine ray-finned fishes belonging to the family Platytroctidae, the tubeshoulders.

The fishes in this genus are found in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, the Indo-West Pacific and the southeastern Pacific Ocean.
