A portion of Pennsylvania State Game Lands Number 73 is located at the western border of the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.81% White, 0.51% Native American, and 0.68% from two or more races.

There were 240 households, out of which 27.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families.
