Hornostaipil

Hornostaipil (Ukrainian: Горностайпіль, Russian: Горностайполь, Yiddish: הארנאסטייפל‎ Horensteipl, Hornosteipel) is a Ukrainian village in northern Ukraine, which is part of Vyshhorod Raion within Kyiv Oblast.

[1] The village is located on the Teteriv River and the Kyiv Reservoir.

[2] Until 18 July 2020, Hornostaipil belonged to Ivankiv Raion.

[3][4] From February to April 2022, Hornstaipil was occupied by Russia as a result of the 2022 invasion.
